It is important to understand that you can’t motivate anybody except
yourself. Motivation comes from within a person, so all you can do is
provide the right environment and encouragement for them to motivate
themselves. You know, so many business owners and managers are always
complaining ‘why won’t my team do what I ask them to do?’ The only person
you can change is yourself. Self-management comes before managing others
or managing an organization. Understanding the impact of your behaviour
is crucial to your leadership.
